What Is The Best Way To Get Quality Backlinks?

If you’ve read about building backlinks at all, chances are you’ve come across the term quality backlinks.

For the most part, no one agrees on what exactly constitutes a quality backlink and where they can be found.

In this article, I’m going to outline what I consider to be the best methods of obtaining these elusive quality backlinks and why they’re important in the first place.

1] Understand your competition

It is important to understand what your competition is doing in order to get backlinks.

This can give you insights into how to get high quality backlinks as well. If they are blogging on a specific platform, you can use that same platform for your own content.

If they are getting their site listed in directories, you can do that too.

Finding out what your competition is doing can help you focus more on methods of getting quality backlinks rather than trying everything at once.

2] Link outreach

If you’re a marketer, blogger, or writer and want to get quality backlinks to your posts and articles, it may be in your best interest to know how to link outreach.

It’s one of those processes that usually goes under-appreciated; many people will just sign up for some service, blast out email after email with pre-written content, and hope they get a good response.

But there are better ways to get links, especially if you have a product or website that’s actually worth linking to.

Here are four tips on how to get quality backlinks by doing outreach:

1) Think about your message first:

Before sending any emails, consider what you want from each person who receives an email from you.

What do you want them to do next? How can they help spread awareness about your product or brand?

Also, think about why they might want to help you out—do you offer anything unique that could benefit their audience? These questions should give you direction when crafting your messages.

2) Make it personal:

In today’s online world, nobody wants to feel like another number on a list.

Showing someone you care about their work and why is important when trying to get quality backlinks.

For example, if you write a post about gardening and get featured on a gardening site, send an email thanking them for featuring you.

Then add something specific about their readership (e.g., I noticed most of your readers love to garden too!).

3) Be transparent:

Letting others know exactly what you want helps build trust and credibility while getting quality backlinks.

Plus, as mentioned above, having a clear purpose for reaching out to someone makes your job easier because you already know what you want from them.

4) Offer value:

Giving value before asking for something in return is always going to make things easier when getting quality backlinks.

So before asking anyone to share your content or link to your page, ask yourself if there’s anything else you can do for them.

Can you create an infographic based on their data? Do they need more information about a topic? Asking these types of questions will show you truly care about helping others before asking for favours.

Once you follow these tips, getting quality backlinks becomes much easier. You don’t even have to spend hours blasting out emails!

3] Guest posting

There are many ways to get backlinks (quality ones, that is), but one of our favourites is through guest posting.

In fact, we attribute most of our success to a couple of high-profile guest posts we’ve done recently. Guest posting allows you to earn quality backlinks by building relationships with relevant websites in your niche.

You can even guest post on websites that don’t link out! If you’re interested in getting started with guest posting, check out these resources:

Six Steps to Writing Killer Guest Posts and How To Get Any Website to Link to Your Site.

Step 1] Choose a topic related to your business or industry.

Look at what type of content gets shared on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, etc., and then write about something similar.

For example, if you run an online clothing store that sells bathing suits for women in their 20s, you might find that images of young women wearing bikinis get tons of shares and likes.

You could use these as inspiration for your own posts! If you’re not sure where to start looking for inspiration, try searching Google Trends or BuzzSumo.

Both tools will show you popular topics being discussed online right now.

Step 2] Find blogs related to your topic.
Step 3] Send them an email

Send them an email introducing yourself and asking if they’d be willing to publish a guest post from you on their site.

Step 4] Get it published!

Include links to your website or product in at least two places within your content.

Step 5] Monitor

Monitor for incoming links for up to two weeks after publishing; reach out to other bloggers if no one has linked to you yet.

Step 6] Rinse and repeat!

4] Find press opportunities

Finding press opportunities is a great way to earn quality backlinks.

Look for relevant, high-profile websites and contact them to see if they’re interested in covering your company or your latest product launch.

Many of these sites are always looking for content ideas, so it can’t hurt to throw your hat into the ring!

And don’t forget to include links back to your website on any guest posts you publish—this is another great way to get quality backlinks.

5] Own your niche

Research your industry and competitors to understand what kind of content is popular in your niche.

If you find that there are lots of articles with a lot of backlinks, write similar articles.

Make sure they’re unique—don’t just rewrite something that’s already been written on a different site, or you might face some penalties from Google.

If there aren’t many articles out there with backlinks, aim to create highly original content.

6] Use content upgrades

Do you want to get quality backlinks, but don’t know where to start?

One way to increase your chances of getting good links is by offering something of value in exchange for a link.

Content upgrades are one of my favourite ways to do that; they offer content upgrades in exchange for signing up to receive future newsletters or providing your email address.

7] Steal competitor links

You should also attempt to gather backlinks from your competitors.

You can do so by using a tool like Open Site Explorer, which allows you to see who is linking to your competitors, and you can contact those sites directly to try and get them to link back to you.

Without Spamming: How Do I Get High Quality DoFollow Backlinks?

Over time, Google has been able to distinguish between high-quality and low-quality backlinks.

This means that even if you have a lot of links coming into your site, it doesn’t mean you’ll automatically rank on page one for a given search term.

Focus on acquiring quality over quantity when it comes to building backlinks.

You can check out the tips below on how to do so.

One way to get quality backlinks is by commenting on other blogs in your niche.

Commenting is great because:

1) It helps establish relationships with others in your industry;

2) It gives you another opportunity to promote yourself and/or brand;

3) It shows others that you are an active member of your community who cares about helping others;

4) Other bloggers may link back to you because they agree with what you said in your comment.

Another way to get quality backlinks is through social media.

Find people who are already linking to similar content as yours and reach out to them via Twitter or Facebook (this works especially well if you know someone personally).

If you can’t find anyone linking to similar content, start creating some! When creating content for your website or social media pages, make sure that it includes relevant keywords—but don’t stuff them all in there just for SEO purposes.

Pretend like you’re a normal person. Don’t be scared to request support when you need it.

There are many websites that offer free backlink services, but be careful—not all of these sites provide good quality backlinks.

Make sure you choose a reputable service provider before going forward with any deals.

Last but not least, always focus on providing value to your readers first and foremost. If you can do that, then everything else will fall into place. Good luck!

Which Is The Most Powerful Backlink? Answered!

Links from related, authoritative websites are much more powerful than links from unrelated sites.

If you want to increase your site’s authority and improve its rankings, you should concentrate on getting relevant backlinks.

It is also important that these backlinks come from high-quality websites because they will have a positive impact on your own website.

You can get quality backlinks by writing guest posts for high-authority blogs or by participating in link building campaigns with other webmasters.

What Makes a High Quality Backlink? Answered!

There are several methods to gain backlinks. These include guest posting, link wheels, and more. However, not all links are created equal.

In fact, some links will harm your ranking in search engines. This is why it’s important to understand what makes a high quality backlink as opposed to a low-quality one.

Here are five things that can help you identify high quality backlinks:

1) Domain Authority

– High-quality backlinks should come from domains with a high domain authority (DA).

DA is calculated by combining Moz metrics such as MozRank, MozTrust, and Domain Authority.

You can also use third-party tools like Open Site Explorer or Rank Tracker to determine DA for a specific site. It’s recommended that you focus on acquiring links from sites with a DA above 30.

2) Link Text

– Google looks at anchor text when determining if a link is spammy or not.

For example, if someone links to your website using click here then Google might consider that spammy.

Instead, try to get other people to link to your content using descriptive anchor text such as the best way to get quality backlinks

3) Number of Outbound Links

– If a website has too many outbound links then Google might assume it has been purchased and label it as spam.

Try to find websites that have around 100 outbound links or less.

4) Website Age

– Older websites tend to be of higher quality than newer ones because they’ve had more time to build up their reputation.

Look for sites that have been around for a few years

5) Social Signals

– Sites with social signals such as Facebook likes, tweets, and +1s tend to be higher quality than those without any social signals.

As you can see, there are a number of factors that go into identifying high quality backlinks.

While no single factor is perfect, looking at these five factors should give you an idea of whether or not a particular link would benefit your SEO efforts.

Which Backlinks Is The Best For SEO? Answer!

If you’re building links to your website, you might be wondering whether there’s the best kind of link to go for.

This post will explore some of the most effective types of backlinks and how you can use them in your digital marketing strategy.

There are lots of ways to build links, but we’ll focus on five that I think to offer good value for time invested:

1] broken-link building,

2] content creation/distribution,

3] forum posting/participation,

4] social media outreach

5] and email outreach.

Of course, these aren’t mutually exclusive—you could do several at once or even all of them together!

But if you had to pick just one or two tactics to start with, here are my suggestions.

1] Broken-Link Building

Broken-link building is simple enough: find out what sites link to you, then find those sites’ broken links and reach out about fixing them.

Not only does it help fix a site that may have previously linked to you (or someone else), but it also helps provide additional context around your site by adding more relevant external sites as reference points.

This not only improves your overall authority on a subject matter but also helps give Google more context around what they should rank you for.

2] content creation/distribution

Creating high-quality content isn’t easy, but it’s definitely worthwhile.

It provides something valuable to readers who want information on a particular topic and gives search engines another reason to rank you highly for related queries.

3] Forum Posting/Participation

Forums are often overlooked as an SEO tactic, but they can be incredibly useful when used correctly.

Participating in forums that relate to your business can help improve your reputation online, drive traffic to your site and earn you high-quality backlinks.

4] Social Media Outreach

Social media has changed drastically over the past few years; people no longer rely solely on Facebook or Twitter for their newsfeeds.

As such, it’s important to diversify where you get your social signals from.

Reach out to influencers on other platforms like Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat to help spread awareness of your brand.

5] Email Outreach

Email outreach is one of my favourite techniques because it allows you to contact anyone directly without having to worry about gatekeepers or publicists getting in your way.

While it takes a bit more work than other methods, reaching out directly via email can make a big difference when trying to secure high-quality backlinks.
